Great product overall with strong voice-to-text accuracy and functionality. However, there are two issues that prevent me from giving it 5 stars: First, the app sometimes loses synchronization on my Mac and requires me to close and reopen it to reset, which is frustrating during active use. Second, I would like to disable the notification sound that plays every time I press the hotkey. There is a toggle for this in the VoiceType.com settings on my Mac, but clicking it does not turn off the notification as expected. I have brought both issues to the team's attention and feel confident they will address them. The core product is very good when it works properly. If they fix the notification toggle and eliminate the synchronization issue, I would easily move this to a 5-star rating.

The windows app is buggy tbh and text formatting isn't great. Hopefully these will improve. I've got to admit that when thr app works it does a great job of transcribing text though, just be aware you will probaby have to format the text when you're finished.

Solid purchase overall. The voice-to-text accuracy is better than I expected, even with longer recordings, and the unlimited usage makes it stress-free to use daily. Setup was simple, and it’s already saved me a lot of time with notes and drafts. For the price, the lifetime access feels like a good value.

This is a pretty unique applicaiton wherein I can use the voice to text option to add text into any open window on my screen, just by talking. This is a good way to save on typing BUT I feel that the accuracy and punctuation, when speech is converted to text is not up to the mark and requires frequent formatting. If this could handle the punctuation and sentence formatting bit, it would be the complete package!
